Project Summary
This dashboard presents a seven-year overview of FAU’s career fairs, tracking key metrics such as revenue, expenses, employer participation, and student attendance. It provides a historical lens to identify trends, measure impact, and support data-driven planning.
Note: The numbers have been changed from the original dashboard for security reasons. Also, these dashboards are interactive when they are accessed from PowerBi.
The first tab displays a comprehensive financial summary, including total expenses, taxes, gross revenue, and net revenue. Users can toggle by event and compare data across spring and fall terms to better understand seasonal performance and event-based financial impact.
The second tab offers detailed insights into student attendance at career fairs. It allows filtering by various criteria such as class year, college, and major, while also displaying check-in times and duration of attendance, providing valuable data to assess student engagement and optimize future event planning
This tab allows users to view and filter all employers who have attended FAU career events. It includes information on the types of opportunities offered, the industries they represent, and key aggregated statistics, providing a snapshot of employer engagement and market trends relevant to our students.
The final tab features a historical trend line illustrating career fair attendance over the past seven years, offering valuable insights into engagement patterns and long-term growth to inform strategic planning and event forecasting.
